Bette "Bj" Wilcox

Bette J. Wilcox 'BJ' (nee Henke), 82 of Oconomowoc, stepped into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Bette is survived by her children Debra Wilcox of Raleigh, NC, Susan (LaRai Martin) Wilcox of Stevens Point, WI and foster son Kenneth Hogan, brothers Roger Henke and Thomas (Anita) Henke, cousin Pat Haarmann and many other relatives and friends. Bette is preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe Wilcox and her parents Augie and Edna Henke and foster daughter Agnes 'Annie' Hogan. Bette was a longtime member Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oconomowoc, serving over the memorial committee as well as multiple other church committees. She was past member of the Oconomowoc Women's Club, owner of BJ's Arts and Crafts and enjoyed playing cards with her Tuesday card club. Bette was a loving wife, mother and friend. Funeral services for Bette will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oconomowoc on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service, all to be held at the church. Bette will be laid to rest at LaBelle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bette's name to the Good Shepherd United Methodist Memorial fund.
