James Swanton

Jim Swanton, age 90 of Oconomowoc, passed away on Thursday April 5th. Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Jean Swanton. Jim leaves behind his two sons Scott and Randy (Sandee) along with two grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jim is further survived by his sisters, Jane (William) Wierdsma and Jean Britt, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00AM with a visitation for family and friends to start at 9:00 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oconomowoc. Memorials in Jim’s honor may be given to the church. Jim worked for Oliver Construction for over 40 years, first as a mason and later as a construction superintendent. He loved his family deeply and will be missed by all.
