Juanita M. Newman

Juanita M. Newman, age 102, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. She was born on March 14, 1919 to Samuel Mills and Clara (Arnold) Hey in Waukesha. Juanita is survived by her 8 children, Annette Sather, Suzanne (Duane) Marklein, Ardith (Tom) Bergerud, Shirley (Greg) Harrold, Larry Newman, John (Cathy) Newman, Mark Newman and Paul (Lisa) Newman; her 17 grandchildren; her 20 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Al; and 4 siblings. Juanita taught Economics for the Waukesha School District for 20 years. She was an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church for 60 years, where she also served as Administrative Assistant to the pastor. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 N. Genesee Street in Delafield, with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
