Alcyone E. Thuot

Alcyone E. Thuot (nee Pepke), age 85 of the town of Genesee, passed away on December 13, 2018. Alcyone was born in Merrill on April 27, 1933 to Arnold A. and Alcyone A. Pepke. Alcyone enjoyed working in the insurance industry for many years. She enjoyed her family, travel, home, birds, crossword puzzles, and of course watching “The Price is Right.” Alcyone was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene W. Thuot, and brother Duane Pepke. She is survived by her daughter Alcyone Ann Thuot of Burlington and her children Marisa and Nicholas, son Jeffrey (Ann) Thuot of Sullivan, and daughter Denise Thuot (Lee Hilbert) of Oxnard, CA. She is further survived by her brother Alver Pepke, CA, sisters-in-law Carol Pepke, FL, Priscilla Pepke, CA, Grace Lang, Milwaukee, Madelyne Thuot, Park Falls, and Arleen Thuot and Carol Thuot of the Wausau area; and brothers-in-law Calvin (Faye) Thuot and Ray (Theresa) Thuot of the Wausau area, and many nieces and nephews. Because education was so important in Alcyone and Eugene’s lives, an endowment, 'Eugene W. and Alcyone E. Thuot Endowed Scholarship' has been established with the Medical College of WI, 8701 Watertown Plank Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53226. Memorials in lieu of flowers could also be directed to the MACC Fund, 10000 W. Innovation Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53226.
