Alice Irene Walters

Alice Irene Walters, age 83, entered eternal life on Saturday, January 20, 2024, surrounded by her children. Alice is survived by her children, Cindy Foth, Les (Berrak) Walters and Kirby Walters, her grandchildren, Bill, Phillip, Eli, Melissa (Justin), and Alicia and four great-grandchildren, Noah, Levi, Tucker, and Cooper. She is further survived by her sister, Elaine Elliott, along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ed, of 57 years and her sisters, Beverly Loterbaugh and Jeanne Nelis.

Alice graduated from Racine Lutheran High School where she met her future mother-in-law, Mrs. Elsa Walters. Following high school, she attended beautician school and worked for a number of years in the cosmetology sector. She then worked for the Andis Clipper Company in Racine until she changed jobs, taking on a new challenge. Alice started working for SC Johnson and held many positions until she finally retired in 2005. She enjoyed many activities such as gardening, baking, sewing, and craftwork. Alice loved to travel and embarked on several cruises and visited Europe. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was always a positive force for family and friends by providing long-term care for Ed, volunteering her time, and lending a hand to all. Her loving and caring spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Alice was an active member of Lutheran Chapel of the Cross in Mount Pleasant, WI.

A Celebration of Life service for Alice will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, with visitation for family and friends starting at 11:00 AM and a service beginning at noon. Following the service, the family will host a luncheon. All events will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 2228 N, Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
