Andrew M. Kelly

Andrew M. Kelly, age 42, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous fight with cancer on December 5, 2018. He is survived by his cherished wife of 9 years, Amanda, his children Aiden, Addison, and Asher; his parents Daniel and Barbara Kelly; his brother Christopher (Andrea) Kelly; grandfather Leonard Meyer; sisters in law Brittany (Jerad) Adler and Noel (Khamp) Manikham; mother in law Kathryn (Michael Kain) Laine; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to name. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mary and Leon Weisensel and paternal grandparents Raymond and Audrey Kelly. Andrew was an avid gardener and took pride in his vegetable garden every year. He loved vacations on the beach and was content as can be laying in the sunshine listening to his “island” music. Christmas time was his favorite time of the year and he insisted the Christmas tree stayed up until at least Valentine’s Day each year. Andrew worked at WCTC for over 17 years in the Career Center where he helped others each and every day. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. His love for computers developed into a passion. Countless friends and family members utilized his knowledge and we always joked about his “help desk” services he provided at no cost. Andrew loved his children/family dearly and will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on in his children. He fought a long, hard battle with cancer. No more suffering, free of pain. Until we meet again….. Services for Andrew will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church (145 E Lisbon Rd, Oconomowoc). A visitation for family and friends will take place from 2:00pm until 4:45 pm, with a service taking place at 5:00 pm. Memorial donations in honor of Andrew may be made to the family, to be used for the children's education. The family would like to thank the numerous Cancer Center staff at Froedtert for the wonderful care shown to Andrew.
