Arlene Tinus

Arlene Tinus, age 90 of Oconomowoc, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, June 12, 2017. Arlene is survived by her loving children Steve (Sue) Tinus, Tim (Susan) Tinus, Ann (Mark) Cirillo, grandchildren Trevor (Jeanna) Tinus, Timothy Austin Tinus, Jason (Krysta) Tinus, Erik (Anna) Tinus, Joshua (Jill) Cirillo, Anthony (Jessica) Cirillo, Alexander (Jordyn) Cirillo, Nathaniel (Callie) Cirillo and Heather Tinus, along with 13 great grandchildren. Arlene is preceded in death by her husband Harold and her daughter Jane Tinus. Arlene was born to Oscar and Hertha Onasch on April 30, 1927. She married Harold on December 6, 1947 and started Tinus Marine in 1948. She was a life long resident of Oconomowoc and she loved the Lake Country area. She was a life long member of Dr. Martin Luther Church which her grandfather started. Lifetime member of the Oconomowoc Woman's Club and Oconomowoc Homemakers club. She enjoyed golf, was an avid curler, belonged to the FBI snowmobile club and enjoyed dancing with her beloved husband in the Twelve Niters Dance Club. Most of all, Arlene enjoyed being out on the lake on her pontoon boat with her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew her. A funeral service will be held for Arlene on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 with a visitation for family and friends starting at 1:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM all to take place at Dr. Martin Luther Church in Oconomowoc. Burial will be private for the family on Wednesday at La Belle Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to her church Dr. Martin Luther Church.
