Arlyle D. Werner (nee Krenz), age 86 of Dousman, went into the arms of her loving Lord on Friday, May 15, 2015. Loving mother of Linda (Randy) Richeson, James Werner, Roger Werner and Maggie (Vern) Lahti. Grandmother of Jeff Werner, Mark Werner, Jack Flood, Ben Flood and Charlotte Werner. Great-grandmother of Hailee, Caleb, Ava, Megan and Evan. Arlyle is also survived by her siblings Jenny (Gene) Voigt and Vilas Krenz along with many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald Werner and her parents Arnold and Ida Krenz. Arlyle was born at her home in Hamburg, WI on July 30, 1928. She joined Donald in marriage on July 16, 1950. Arlyle was a devoted mother and wife, always putting the needs of her family before her own. She enjoyed volunteering at church and was very active in her community. Others around the world benefited from her work with the Lutheran World Relief organization. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, traveling with Donald, baking, cooking, canning and going to rummage sales with her friends. Arlyle also treasured spending time with family and friends. A celebration of Arlyle's life will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 North Genesee Street in Delafield on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until the time of the service officiated by Pastor Lindsay Jordan. A reception will be held in the Great Hall at church following the service. Arlyle will be laid to rest at Ottawa Cemetery. Memorials in Arlyle's name can be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church in Delafield. A special thank you to the staff of Three Pillars and Seasons Hospice for their kind, compassionate and respectful care of Arlyle.
