Aubrey E. “Reb” Nease.

Aubrey E. Nease of Oconomowoc, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 7th, 2023.

Preceding him in death were his loving wife, Judith “Jude” nee Stringham, his parents W. Bernard and Cleta Nease, his sister Ida Deane Nelson and his brother R. Wayne Nease, all of Tennessee.

Surviving him are his sister Wilma Smith and his four sons, Greg Nease (Debra), Doug Nease (Judy), Joel Nease (Mary), and Jon Nease (Vicki). He is further survived by his grandchildren, Sydney, Natalie, Cori, Rachel, Devon, Cole and Brooke.

Aubrey especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He and his beloved Jude were world travelers and avid hikers of the Smokey Mountains they both loved. Aubrey also enjoyed fly fishing the rivers of Tennessee.

Retiring from United Parcel Service in 1991 after nearly 30 years of service, Aubrey maintained close contact with his many UPS friends and colleagues.

Aubrey will be remembered at a private service per his wishes.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital for their excellent care for Aubrey during his stay at the hospital.

We would also like to thank Evin at Oconomowoc and Brighton Hospice for their team’s exceptional care for Aubrey in his remaining weeks. The care he received from their teams, assured Aubrey was comfortable in his own residence leading up to his passing.

In lieu of flowers, he asked for donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of his wife Jude.
