Bernadine Matson

Matson, Bernadine (n?e Makowski). Born 4/9/1928, died 4/1/2010, after a short illness; 81 years of age. Survived by her loving husband of 59 years Lorne ('Kelly'); son Mark and daughter-in-law Heleena Laitinen; daughter Jane Rozman, son-in-law Gary Rozman and granddaughter Elizabeth Rozman; and son Andy, daughter-in-law Linda, and grandsons Kyle and Tyler. Also survived by brothers Robert, Richard and Ralph Makowski, sister Marguerite Young, sister-in-law Rosemarie Makowski and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their warmest thanks to the staff, especially the nurses, in the ICU at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital for the loving care they gave Berny in her last days. Longtime member of St. Anthony on the Lake parish, Pewaukee, where there will be a memorial Mass on Monday, April 12th at 10:00 Private burial to follow. Memorials to St. Anthony's School would be appreciated.
