Bernice Elizabeth Petushek, Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 08, 2018. She was born on February 1, 1917, in Orient, Faulk County, South Dakota to Claude and Amelia Keller. She married John William Petushek on July 2, 1945 in Milwaukee. Shortly thereafter they purchased a home in the Town of Summit, Waukesha County and resided there until 1997. Bernice was a homemaker and liked spending winters in Florida after her husband’s retirement. She enjoyed Brewers baseball, visiting family, seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren taking part in various social activities including “Wii” bowling, Bingo and luncheons at Shorehaven apts. Survivors include one son John C. Petushek and wife Theresa of Oconomowoc, WI. One daughter, JoAnne Fritz and husband Roger, of Union Hall, Virginia. Four grandchildren; Lindsay Russell (Sussex, WI), and Erich Petushek, (Marquette, Michigan), Kimberly (Fritz) Six and husband David (Daaville, CA) and Tracy (Fritz) McClennan and husband Scott (Sunnyvale, CA). Five Great Grandchildren; Elena and Juliana and Josh Six. Beatrice and Simon McClennan. She is predeceased by both parents, her husband (7/3/2000), two sisters, Doris Jenkins and Helen Kniebus, a brother, Robert Keller and one grandchild, Erich Fritz. An Internment service will be held at Summit Cemetery in Oconomowoc at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Memorials may be sent to a charity of your choosing.
