Bertha “Bert” “Barb” Ansorge passed away unexpectedly after surgery on Thursday, November 7th. She was joyously lifted into heaven by her loving daughter Patti and her cherished grandson Richard.
Our Mom was born on July 11th, 1930, in Couderay, Wisconsin with her family eventually settling in Park Falls, Wisconsin. She lived a full life filled with love. She lived through the Great Depression, she raised five beautiful, grateful children providing for them by being an exceptional waitress at the Pal Café in her hometown to fine dining at Aliotas on Bluemound in Brookfield. Bert touched many lives with her love, kindness, wit and sense of humor. She instilled her exceptional morals and values in her children, and she was proud of everyone of them.
We are especially grateful to our sister Susi who lived in the apartment next to her taking loving care of her every day.
Bert was preceded in death by her parents Art & Olive Thibedeau, sisters Margaret and Betty, brothers Jimmy and Neal, daughter Patti and grandson Richard.
She is survived by her sister Beverly O’Donnell, daughters Linda (Dennis) Reichardt, Bonnie (Rich) Moran, Susi Brent (feline Lucy Joy) and son David (Kim) Ansorge. Grandchildren Carin (Dan) Cole, Scott (Holly) Larsen and Egan, Liberty and Isaac Ansorge. Great Grandchildren Zack Larsen, Keira Joy Cole, Sam Larsen, Shelby (Jordan) Cruse, Brick (Paightn) Cole, Garrett Cole and Destiny Blanz. Great Great Grandchildren Everly, Emilia and Gabriel Cruse and soon to arrive, Paisley Cole in December. Special friends to Shirley Garton, Johnathan Smitka, Zoya Khayt, Judy Worzalla, Sue Roberts and Samantha Westin.
We as her children are forever indebted to our mom who raised us to be strong, loving, kind, giving adults who will always persevere as she did through all the challenges she faced in her life. We love you Mom and we will do our best to honor your legacy.
