Beryl J. Mckenzie

McKenzie, Beryl J. (nee Baughman) Born to Eternal Life on April 10, 2017 at age 87. Beryl is survived by her beloved husband Richard of 70 years. Beryl was a wonderful Mom of Twins Linda (Tom) Georgeson and Lynn (Jean) McKenzie , Paige (the late Alan) Matz and Craig (Tami) McKenzie and an awesome Grandma to Aaron, Belinda, Patrick, Peter, Matthew, Kate, and Paul and new great-grandma to Paxton. Beryl was preceded in death by her infant daughter Karen and her brother Gordon Baughman. Beryl was born and raised in Auburn, Indiana and later in her marriage resided in various states and internationally as Richard's employment took the family. Besides being a busy and loving Mom, Beryl was a talented homemaker, seamstress, gardener and preserver. She refinished and reupholstered furniture and remodeled the homes she lived in. She served her community and church by heading or participating in various organizations during her lifetime. She was an artist in many medias. Richard's job in the early 1960's took the family around the world to India for several years where Beryl and the family thrived in this new environment and this was a highlight of her life. A private family memorial service is planned for April 24, 2017 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, Oconomowoc, WI with interment in Auburn, Indiana at a later date.
