Betty Jane Pleyte

Betty Jane Pleyte “Betts” (nee Lee) was born to Jack and Estelle Lee on June 8, 1947, passed away February 1, 2020 at Angel’s Grace Hospice. She is survived by Quinn L. Pleyte and her beloved dog, Toffee. Quinn and Betty were married June 29, 1985. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Estelle Lee and older brother, Richard Lee. Betty graduated from OHS in 1965. For years, Betty worked as a closing secretary for Colonial Real Estate and at Cooney Printing as the office manager. After Quinn and Betty met, they dedicated their 43 years together doing musical and legitimate theater. They also mentored middle and high school students in technical theater primarily at Oconomowoc Area School District and the Elmbrook School District. Betty and Quinn worked together organizing many small golf tournaments and the larger “Super 100” which provided 20 plus students with cash grants for those going on to college. Betty became very involved in the Paganica Thursday AM Senior Men’s League as the secretary-treasure after the league was formed. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Betts took over total control of the league until the end of the 2019 season. Quinn would like to thank all his very special friends who continue to help him thru these difficult times. Quinn’s heartfelt thanks go out to Angel’s Grace Hospice for their very special care and compassion when keeping Bett’s comfortable in the days leading up to her death. No services are planned. In place of flowers, remembrances to the family would be appreciated. Betts, Quinn and Toffee Together Forever Eternally
