Betty Schneider

Betty J. Schneider (nee Milaccio), 88, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Betty is survived by her children; Robert (Lynne) Schneider Jr. of Oconomowoc and Deborah Schneider of Waukesha, grandchildren; Roberta (Joel) Wittemann of Waukesha and Todd (Lynnae) Schneider of Waukesha and great-grandchildren; Haley Wittemann, Benjamin Wittemann and Ryan Schneider. Betty is also survived by her brother George (Sue) Milaccio along with many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert A. Schneider Sr., parents George and Leona (nee Paegelow) Milaccio and daughter Patricia Schneider. Betty was a member of the Our Savior's Lutheran Church Rebecca Circle Bible Study and Life Member of the Shorehaven Service League as well as its President from 1998-1999. She started volunteering in 1992. Betty was the art chairman and worked in the Forgotten Treasure Resale Shop and helped with many resident activities and Service League events. Betty worked as a real estate agent in the 1970's. She enjoyed travel and traveling abroad as well as being an avid golfer. In 1980 she scored her first hole-in-one at Lac La Belle Country Club. Funeral services for Betty will be at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 12:30 P.M. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Betty will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield following the service. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
