Beverly "Bev" Mae Evans

Beverly “Bev” Mae Evans age 83, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield WI surrounded by her family. Bev was born on March 15, 1940, to Arthur and Marie Kleist in Waukesha WI.

Bev is survived by her daughters: Jackie (Phillip) Marquardt, Jill (Orin) Kowald, Jean (Lowell) Hoffmann, Jodi (Todd) Cigelske and Jennifer (Ken) Wiersma, her grandchildren: Kevin (Amber), Brad, Brian (Naomi), Kaillee (special friend Tyler), Tim, Jeff (Kelly), Doyle (Tonya), Tracey (Mark), Tierney (Jordan), Chad (Jordan), Marc (Candice) and Kim (Mark) along with great grandchildren: Kylie, Carter, Kaden, Ryan, Josilyn, Gillyan, Aubree, Maggie, John, Rylee, Evan, Bentley, Kylee, Cohen, Blake, Harper, Kennedy, Melody, Olivia, Piper, William, Austin, Katelyn, Weston, Preston, Jordan, Jayden, Mason, Lainey, Miley, Embree, Clayton and Parker. Bev is further survived by her sisters Lois Boettcher and Sandy Thompson, sister-in-law Donna Mickle along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Bev was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 54 years whom she married on August 3, 1957, William “Bill” Evans and her sister JoAnn Majeskie.

Bev and Bill farmed for many years and raised 5 daughters. After they left the farm, Bev went back to school and earned her RN degree at the age of 50. She worked at many health care facilities in Waukesha and Dodge Counties. After retirement, Bev and Bill spent winters in Mesa, AZ. Bev became a resident there in 2013 until May of 2023 when she moved back to Beaver Dam to be closer to her daughters.

A funeral will be held for Bev on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends to start at 11:00 AM all to be held at Pagenkopf Funeral home in Oconomowoc. A burial will follow at Jerusalem Cemetery in Wales, WI. A luncheon will follow the burial at Pagenkopf Funeral Home.
