Bruce Allen Stocks

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Allen Stocks, a beloved brother and friend to many. Bruce peacefully left this world on September 25, 2023, at the age of 64. Born on April 24, 1959, in Waukesha, WI, Bruce was the son of Donald Stocks and Glenda Steuerwald (nee Nolan).

Bruce is survived by his siblings David Stocks, Shari (Fred) Meyers, Valerie (Mike) Sheehan, Gary Stocks, Candy (Lee) Meyer and Donna (Cass) Kuzba. He is also survived by his step-mother, Judy Stocks; sister-in-law, Delores Stocks and brother-in-law John Bandkowski; many nieces and nephews; and his precious cat companion, Jack.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Jim Stocks, Doug Stocks and Pat Bandkowski; and sister-in-law Myrna Stocks.

Bruce attended Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, WI and graduated in 1978. Bruce's professional journey reflects his dedication and commitment. He spent 25 years as a Sales Representative at Home Depot, where he was highly regarded by his colleagues and customers. He also worked for Bauer Sign Company, where he dedicated 30 years of his life, embracing the world of signage and retail. Bruce's passion for collecting extended beyond his career, as he held a special admiration for matchbox cars, amassing a notable collection over the years. Bruce always had a special affection for animals, and his cat, Jack held a special place in his heart.

Known for his infectious laughter and lighthearted spirit, Bruce aka Boo Boo, loved to joke and have fun with everyone he crossed paths with. The memories created with family, outings with friends, and shared moments with coworkers will forever be cherished. He had a way of brightening up any room he entered and spreading joy to those around him.

The visitation to honor Bruce's memory will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a service to follow. Friends and family are invited to come together to remember Bruce's life in our banquet room for a meal after the service.

He will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
