Bruce E. Ferris, age 66, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 26, 2020. He was born on October 8, 1953 to John and Marie Ferris in Green Bay. Bruce grew up in Milwaukee, he lived most of his life in Sullivan and Clintonville and then back to Sullivan in retirement. Bruce is survived by his loving devoted wife, Wendy; daughter, Anngie (Greg) Moyer; grandchildren, Greyson, Grant, Greer; his siblings, Jackie (Dick) Pagac, Buster Ferris, Ron (Kelly) Ferris, and Teri Ferris; sisters-in-law, Shelley (Jerry) Erdman, Darlene (Scott) Wolfe, Linda Rexroat, Rhonda (Eddie) Negron, and Cheryl Ferris; brother-in-law, Randall (Kerry) Rose; Fred (Carol) Heim III; mother-in-law, Helen Heim; nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Jeff) Luke, Nicole (Andy) Falk, Jeremy Erdman, Steven (Jamie) Pagac, John Pagac, Valerie and Vincent Rexroat, Natalie (Chris) Beckwith, Alex and Eric Wolfe, Jason Rose, Madeline and Annaliese Heim, Julio Negron; grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Alex and Bailey Luke, Samuel, Sabrina and Madelyn Falk. Bruce had many Weise, Kottke, other cousins and extended family Charity and Joe, Kory and Mitch, Jodie and Doug, Terry and Carla, and had fond memories with them all. He was also survived by his amazing dog, Presley. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Heidi Heim; father-in-law, Fred Heim II; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Norman and Marion Rose; brother-in-law, John Rexroat; and two special dogs, Tiger and Taffy. Bruce loved animals, nature, as well as motors from childhood on. He loved his motorcycles, raced stock cars, loved watching NASCAR racing, loved being in his tow truck plowing snow, and drove cement trucks and quad axles. He also enjoyed All Star Wrestling, and was known as The Legend in pool, as well as a family sing of the oldies in the round passing an invisible microphone. Bruce was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, and an honorary member of Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville. He loved them both. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sullivan. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be held at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia immediately following the service.
