Carolyn L. Wright

Carolyn L. Wright,age 86, of Delafield, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2018. Carolyn is survived by her children Randall Wright, Cynthia (Pat) Linnan, and Donna Wright; grandchildren Andrew Wright, Annalia Linnan, and Nicholas Linnan. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Wright, her parents Harry and Harriet Ziemann, and her aunt Lillian Ziemann. Carolyn graduated from University School of Milwaukee and went on to receive a BS degree from Purdue University. As a young woman, she was an accomplished equestrian. She enjoyed tennis and golf as a longtime winter resident of Rancho Mirage, Ca. A frequent patron of the fine arts, she especially enjoyed the visual arts. She served as President and later as a Director Emeritus of the Ziemann Foundation. Her interest in traveling took her to the Great Wall of China, the Serengeti and the Taj Mahal. Her love and appreciation for the world of beauty around us will remain in our hearts forever. A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 28 at the Shorehaven Chapel (1305 W Wisconsin Ave, Oconomowoc) from 11:30am until time of service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Forest Home Cemetery (2405 W. Forest Home Ave, Milwaukee) at 3:30pm on Wednesday, March 28.
