Charles Brehmer

Charles (Chuck) Theodore Brehmer, from the town of Stone Bank, passed away on October 1, 2011 at the age of 70. Chuck was born in Milwaukee on June 23, 1941 to Franklin and Constance (Hilty) Brehmer. Upon his retirement from his sales career in 2002, Chuck pursued his interests in computers and music. Chuck loved to garden and took such pride in growing a variety of fruits and vegetables. He especially loved to use his home grown produce in cooking and baking a wide variety of food. He always made too much and then enjoyed sharing his finished products with family and friends. When celebrating Holidays with his family he was always in charge of the desserts and the leftovers were shared by all. He took special pride in spending time with his grandchildren and especially was looking forward to the birth of his 7th grandchild this coming year. This year was an extra special year for him with his love of baseball. He never missed watching a Brewer game and shared his excitement with everyone with the Brewers winning cycle. He was also a fan of the Green Bay Packers so if he was not watching baseball he would be watching football. Chuck is survived by his son Steven (Heidi) Brehmer of Germantown, daughter Stacy (John) Waterbury of Oconomowoc, son Charles (Angela) Brehmer of Durham, North Carolina, and daughter Stefanie ( James) Folts of Watertown. He is further survived by 6 grandchildren: Nicole Brehmer, Courtney Waterbury, Jonathon (Jon) Waterbury, Katelyn Waterbury, James III (JT) Folts, and Jocelyn Folts. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth (Susan) Brehmer of Milwaukee and dearest friends Ingrid (Dan) Baum. He was preceded in death by both his parents. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Tuesday October 4, 2011 from 5-7:30 pm with a Christian Service to follow at 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
