Charles Jacob Osborn, Sr., age 68, of Milwaukee, formerly of Oconomowoc, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI. Charlie was born February 2, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI to Robert J. and Jacqueline (nee Truss) Osborn. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Mae Osborn (nee Schuchardt) of Milwaukee, children Charles J. (Susan) Osborn Jr. of Oconomowoc, Bob (Rebecca) Osborn of Milwaukee, WI and Rebecca Osborn of Milwaukee, WI, sisters Maxine (George 'Tony' Jernigan) Osborn and Deborah (William III) Casto, grandchildren Emily, Caroline, Bennett, Chloe and Colin Osborn, niece Andrea (John) Sanidas, nephew John (Trista) Ryan, great nephew Alexander and great nieces Sophia and Ava, along with many other relatives and friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and nephew William Casto IV. Funeral services will be Monday, August 6, 2012 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 995 South Silver Lake Street, Oconomowoc, WI at 5:00 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the church. Charlie will be laid to rest at St. Joan of Arc Cemetery in the Town of Oconomowoc, on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials are suggested to: Variety Children's Club of Wisconsin, 999 N. 92nd Street, Suite C 120, Wauwatosa, WI 53226 or AngelsGrace Hospice, W359N7430 Brown Street / Hwy P Oconomowoc, WI. For many years, Charlie successfully owned and operated The Glennon Group. He was a former member of St. Joan of Arc, Wisconsin Club, Variety Club, Milwaukee Athletic Club, LacLaBelle Golf Club, Western Lakes Golf Club and Lakeview Foundation Board. Charlie served his country as a US Marine in the United States Marine Corps. The family would like to thank all of the staff that provided such great care to Charlie. This includes Dr. Bishop at Froedtert Medical College of Wisconsin and all of the wonderful staff at Columbia St. Mary's, Froedtert Medical College of Wisconsin and AngelsGrace Hospice.
