Christine "Chris" Holle

Christine (“Chris”) Mueller Holle (nee Lange), 71, died peacefully on October 17th, 2015 with her devoted husband of 50 years, Lee T. Holle by her side. Born on September 24th, 1944 to Albert Charles (“Chuck”) & Nancy Lange, Chris grew up with her three brothers on Golden Lake in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Lee and Chris married on September 11th, 1965 and welcomed son Jeffrey in 1969 and daughter Lynn in 1973. Chris devoted her adult life to raising her children and making a comfortable, loving home beginning in Wisconsin and continuing in Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, and Illinois. In 1997, Chris and Lee retired to Marco Island, Florida for most of the year and spent summers in Lake Mills, WI. In September 2013, Lee and Chris made Marco their fulltime home. An avid reader and online scrabble player, Chris loved watching the dolphin, pelicans, and water traffic from her home overlooking the Florida mangroves. Chris is survived by her husband, Lee T. Holle of Marco Island, Florida, son Jeffrey L. Holle (Darlyne) of Belgium, Wisconsin, daughter Lynn M. Ankney (Jonathan) of Chicago, Illinois, and four grandchildren Shannon R. Holle, Ethan P. Ankney, Cameron J. Holle, and Elise M. Ankney. Chris leaves three brothers Albert Charles (“Kip”) Lange III (Barbara), Michael Lange (MaryAnn), and John (the late Mary) Lange, as well as step mother-in-law Jenny Holle, brother-in-law Roy A. Holle, sister-in-law Sue Holle, and many nieces and nephews. Services will take place at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 Summit Avenue in Oconomowoc, on Tuesday, October 27th with visitation from 9-11 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Summit Cemetery to immediately follow the service.
