Clare Frami

Clare Frami, age 93, passed away peacefully with her sons by her side on April 29, 2024 in Oconomowoc, WI. Clare was born in Milwaukee, WI to Charles and Marcella Albert on July 23, 1930.

Clare is survived by her three sons Michael John, Matthew Allen (Cynthia) and Stephen Albert (Lisa) Frami; grandchildren Elizabeth (EV) Mattison, Jennifer (Paul) Frami, Jonathan (Rachel) Frami, Vicki (Joe) Madsen, Forrest (Jennifer) Frami, Marcella (Dean) Grassman, Charles Frami and Amy Kroening-Frami; great-grandchildren Noah, Forrest Jr., Jonah, Kaleb, Jordan, Cassie, Dakota, Alyssa, Rylee and Harper; great-great-grandchildren Carlos, Ali’Yanna and Kaden; brother Charles (Joyce) Albert; along with many other loving family and friends.

Clare is preceded in death by her husband Forrest; her son’s Edward and Charles; and sister’s Lorene (Mark) Boncher and Loretta (Richard) Sommers.

Throughout her life, Clare found joy in the simple pleasures, dedicating her time to painting, crocheting, and needlework. She cherished her time rummaging with her best friend Jean and was an avid reader of mysteries and enjoyed the challenge of cryptoquips. Clare found solace in her faith, often going for walks with her rosary.

Clare found joy in spending time with her family, especially cherishing the moments spent at her sons' homes. In the winters, she basked in the sunshine of Arizona with Matt, while the summers were spent in the lively embrace of Wisconsin and Minnesota with Stephen and Mike. In her earlier years, Clare delighted in camping with her family, creating treasured memories that would last a lifetime.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Shorehaven for their exceptional care and Vitas Hospice for their support during Clare's final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Bruno’s Catholic Church or Shorehaven in Clare’s name are welcome.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 9 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 10 at St. Bruno Catholic Church (226 W. Ottawa Avenue, Dousman, WI 53118) at 11:30am.
