Coletta M. Van De Boom

Coletta M. Van De Boom (nee Rolerat), most recently of Brookfield, found the peace of eternal rest on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She was 87 years young. Coletta was born October 17, 1934 in Milwaukee to Boleslaw and Marianna (nee Urbanski) Rolerat. Coletta married her loving husband John J. Van De Boom on September 11, 1954. They enjoyed the blessings of 57 years of devoted marriage until John’s passing in 2011. Coletta is survived by her daughter, Linda (Buzz) Gourdoux; her granddaughters, Jessica (Thomas) Kurz and Rebecca (Charles) Leunig; great-grandchildren, Samuel, Thomas Henry, and Elise Kurz and Maxwell and Jonathan Nash Leunig. Coletta will be remembered most fondly for her love of her family: The dedicated love, support and guidance she gave freely; the delight in her eyes and smile on her face as she played countless games with her great-grandchildren; her unwavering strength and fierce independence she shared with those around her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight in Coletta's name are appreciated. A private graveside service will be held at St. Adalberts Cemetery for her immediate family.
