Conrad C. Lurvey, age 96 of Dousman, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Conrad is survived by his daughter Lois (Jim Stetter) Conway, Lake of the Ozarks, MO, grandchildren Ramona (Bill Scheer) Lurvey, Martinez, CA, Eric (Villi Vilttjalmsson) Lurvey, New York City, Shane (Ann Janquart) Lurvey, Oconomowoc, WI and Dawn Lurvey, Martinez, CA, great-grandchildren Santana Lurvey, Dakota Snyder and Aiden Lurvey, sister-in-laws Judy Lurvey, Dousman and Marian Pike, Oconomowoc, WI. Conrad is also survived by daughter-in-law Teresa Lurvey, Martinez, CA, Kay Lurvey, Dousman, WI, along with loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Genevieve Miller and son Steven Lurvey. Conrad is a lifelong, 3rd generation resident of Waukesha County. He was active in the Dousman and Kettle Moraine school boards and the Town of Summit board. Conrad was an elder at Ottawa Presbyterian Church. Conrad owned his own real estate business, specializing in rural and farm properties. Conrad loved his country, his family and God for all of 96 years and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. A celebration of life open house will be held at the Three Pillars Senior Living Center, 375 State Hwy 67 in Dousman on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM with a prayer service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Conrad's name to the Waukesha Country or Oconomowoc Historical Society, or a charity or church of one's choice.
