D. Stuart Briscoe

D. Stuart Briscoe, longtime pastor of Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin, passed away of natural causes on August 3, 2022 in Summit, Wisconsin at the age of 91. Stuart and his wife, Jill, and their three children left their native England in 1970 and came to Wisconsin where he was the senior pastor of Elmbrook Church for the next 30 years. He and Jill traveled the world extensively, preaching and teaching in over 150 countries on every continent. Their teaching ministry has been carried around the world on Telling the Truth media ministry. Stuart was also a prolific author, publishing over 60 books. He is survived by Jill, his wife of over 60 years; children, David, Judy and Pete and their spouses; 13 grandchildren, Danny, Tyler, Mikey, Christy, David, Drew, Brooke, Jorden, Cameron, Steven, Anika, Liam, and Kendal; and 4 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Elmbrook Church Worship Center, 777 South Barker Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin, with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
