Dale D. Hittman

Dale Dennis Hittman, 71, of Oconomowoc, WI passed away peacefully in his sleep after a 2 year battle with cancer on Dec 2, 2017. Dale was born in Milwaukee on July 16, 1946. Dale and his wife Jackie were married for 43 years. Dale was an entrepreneur, real estate broker, teacher and coach. He enjoyed being on the lake, playing golf and tennis, watching and coaching his children and grandchildren in life and in sports. He was a man of faith and brought a smile and love to all who knew him. Dale is survived by his loving wife Jackie; children Kristi (Terry) Kloos, Shawn Hittman, and Kaelyn (Scott) Benham; grandchildren Cassidy Kloos, Jackson, Noah, and Violet Benham; and Baby Benham (due June 2018); brother Lance (Shelia) Hittman; brother in law Pat Manders; nephew Ryan (Monica) Luxon and their children Raleigh and Grace Luxon; best friend Bob Richter, and other family and friends. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Ruth Hittman, as well as twin sister Dawn (Richard) Luxon. The funeral service will be held on Dec 9th at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2-3:30 with brief ceremony at 3:30. Casual attire. Please wear your favorite “island Dad” Hawaiian shirt, or a polo shirt with the collar “popped up” and you know Dale would still be wearing shorts in December. Also please bring your favorite “Daleism”, nicknames and stories as we celebrate his life with laughter and love as he always did. A reception celebration will continue at Lakeside Supper Club from 4:30-7:30 all are welcome.
