Daniel "Danny" Frank Ferrise Sr.

Daniel “Danny” Frank Ferrise Sr., 60, of Rubicon, WI, a beloved husband, father, & grandfather, passed away peacefully December 6th, 2023 surrounded by family.

Dan was born on July 8th, 1963 in Milwaukee, WI to Frank and Donna Ferrise. He graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1981. Shortly after, he met his loving wife, Heidi, whom he married in 1989 and they welcomed their 3 children, DJ, Logan, and Melissa. He was dedicated to his work in the landscaping business over his entire career. Most recently he was a Project & Client Relations Manager of Installation Services for Bret Achtenhagen.

Dan was a proud firefighter for the Okauchee Fire Department for 36 years, including becoming president of the department prior to his retirement. He loved coaching his kids through little league for Okauchee Youth Baseball and cheering them on during all their other sporting events. You could always find Dan outdoors; whether fishing at his favorite spot - the Crain’s Nest on Okauchee Lake, golfing, or hunting, especially in his own backyard in recent years. Dan loved being a grandfather and enjoyed taking Milo on rides through the woods and swimming in their pond.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Heidi of 34 years; Sons – DJ (Meagan) Ferrise, Logan Ferrise (Nikki Maggiori) , Daughter Melissa Ferrise (Dustyn Topper). Grandsons – Milo & Charlie Ferrise. Mother – Donna Ferrise. Sisters – Annette Kozlowski & Barb Flatka, as well as many other beloved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Ferrise Jr.

Services for Dan will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends starting at 10:00 AM until the time of service. Everything will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N Silver Maple Ln Oconomowoc). Burial will follow at LaBelle Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the family or to have a tree planted in Dan's honor.
