David Dunham

David (Buck) Dunham, of Oconomowoc, WI passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2012 at the age of 50. Buck leaves behind a loving wife of 23 years, Laurie Dunham, and two remarkable children, a son, Dalton Dunham and a daughter, Demi Rae Dunham. Born on Sept. 19, 1961 to Donna and the late Richard Dunham. Son in law to Delores and the late Louis Zimmermann. Brother to Deborah Thompson and Dan Dunham. Brother in law to Al Thompson, Scott and Dana Zimmermann, Steven and Debra Zimmermann. Uncle to Brittney Zimmermann, Lindsey Zimmermann, Alex Thompson, Hanna Thompson and Claire Dunham. Buck was employed in the Plumbing Engineering Field for the last 30 years where he ended his career as the Director of Operations at Monona Plumbing. Buck accomplished much in life. He was an Eagle Scout, Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a certified ski, snowboard, rescue diver, and sporting clay instructor. He enjoyed teaching kids Tae Kwon Do for the last 20 years at the Rec Dept. Buck also was a hunting guide at Milford Hills with his three red labs – Grizzahlee, Kodiak and Foxxy. He was an avid hunter and cherished his time hunting with his closest friends and son in South Dakota and Northern Wisconsin. Three words that sum up his life…'Enjoy the moment.' Buck has made the world a better place and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. The family would like to thank the Coaches of OHS Football and Volleyball, Dr. Rodrigues and the nurses of Aurora Summit Hospital and AngelsGrace, our friends at ATC, Monona Plumbing, Milford Hills and our close friends and family that supported us during this difficult time. Memorials can be made to the Dunham children's college fund which is set up at Landmark Credit Union, 955 Lexington Drive, Oconomowoc, WI, 53066, 262-569-4040. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Crosspoint Community Church, W380 N6931 North Lake Road in Oconomowoc, from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Buck will be laid to rest following the service at LaBelle Cemetery in Oconomowoc.
