David Edward Maule

David Edward Maule, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023. David was born in Dousman, WI to John and Frances Maule on February 18, 1938.

David was preceded in death by his beloved son, Craig Maule; his sister, Sally Thompson; and his brothers, Jerry Maule and Robert Maule.

David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marcia Maule; his daughter, Carrie (Al) Frazier; his daughter-in-law, Alison Maule; grandson, John Maule; and his brothers, Tom (Claudia) Maule and William (Kathy) Maule.

Dad was a natural athlete. He was a wonderful baseball player (short-stop). He also helped his younger brothers to get into local baseball at an early age. Dad was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and hunting. He very much loved all of the natural resources his home state had to offer.

Dad had a long career with United Parcel Service. He started in 1962 as a package truck driver, as the company grew, his standing in the company grew. He finally retired in 1995 as a division manager for the Elm Grove office.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to: St. Jude’s Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.

A visitation will take place on April 29, 2023 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 1:00pm-3:00pm with the service to follow. The family invites you to join them after the service for a meal and a continuation of memories and storytelling of David’s life in the banquet hall.
