David John Bessent

David Bessent, a man of strong faith and gentle spirit, passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 66. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and loyal canine companions, Jemma & Skye.

David is survived by his devoted mother, Marguerite Bessent; his three caring sisters, Debbie Bessent, Chris Bessent, and Tracy Willoughby-Bessent; and his loving girlfriend, Rosann Russell.  David was proceeded in death by his father, John Bessent.

A private individual, David lived a life of simplicity and contentment in his rural home, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the comfort of his dogs. He loved gardening, classic rock, and computers and spent many hours exploring those interests.

David’s strong faith in God guided him throughout his life, providing comfort and strength in times of joy and sorrow. His family and friends will remember his quiet confidence and unwavering trust in a higher power.

May David’s soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of God, and the sweet melodies of classic rock.

A visitation to celebrate David’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home from 12:00PM-1:30PM with a service to follow.
