David Nettesheim

Nettesheim, David Z. Found peace on November 1, 2015, at the age of 90. Reunited with the Love of His Life, Patricia C. Nettesheim (nee Dolan), who passed away on September 16, 2013. They were married for 69 years. Loving Father and Provider to: Kathy Stephens (Woody), Patricia Retzlaff (Robert), David Nettesheim (Debbie), Michael Nettesheim, and Amy Schermerhorn (Steven). Grandfather to 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. David attended Hi-Mount grade school where he was a member of the infamous Hi- Mount Rover Boys. He attended Washington High School, where he started his football career and received All City Football Champion in 1943. David went on to play football and was Team Captain for his beloved Wisconsin Badgers. He continued to play football while attending Marquette University and pursuing a degree in business. David also officiated both high school and college football, basketball, and wrestling for over 40 years. David served in the United States Navy before working at the family owned business, Nichol Kola. After retirement David and Patricia built “The Cottage”, on Lower Nehmabin Lake-a place where the entire family created many special memories and shared many beautiful sunsets together. The family would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the staff at Linden Grove Mukwonago for the loving care it provided to both of our parents. A private ceremony will be held.
