David Valdemar Nelson

David Valdemar Nelson passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 66 years. He was born August 16, 1958, to Douglas V. Nelson and Rae Josephine Nelson (nee Brown) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

David is survived by family members Willie & Annie Nelson, Aster Nelson, Josiah Nelson and Matthias Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents Douglas V. Nelson and Rae Jo Brown.

David was an electrical engineer specializing in shipbuilding. He was an avid photographer and drone operator, often taking aerial photos with his drones. He also had several pet birds, mostly notably Petey.

The family would like to thank Aurora Summit Hospital & Hospice for their excellent care of David and support of the family during this difficult time.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
