Dean Angrick, age 52 of Oconomowoc, passed away on October 1, 2013. Dean is survived by his father Elroy 'Jim' Angrick, sister Debra (Lance) Jochims and brothers Dale and Dave Theresa) Angrick. He is further survived by his niece Saige Angrick and nephews Christopher Angrick and Lance II, Joshua and Eric Jochims. Dean is preceded in death by his mother Norma. Services for Dean will be held on Monday October 7, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. with a visitation starting at 4:00 P.M. all to take place at the funeral home. Dean was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. A person that has gone thru what he has gone thru and still come out smiling is a special type of person. He never thought about himself only what he could do to help someone else. He was a hard person to understand. I want to remember him by the twinkle in his eyes. He had this look of I know something you don’t know and his eyes would twinkle, then he would smile. I saw it the last time he was here and he was at peace.... I don’t know how many lives he saved. I know of at least 5 with me as a part of that 5. How many lives he has effected will never be known. He got around a lot in his younger days. No institution could hold him except Mendota. That was my threat to him. You better be good. You know where they will send you. I am not worried about Dean. He put up one hell of a fight and in the end he made peace with each of the family members that he offended. He made peace with himself. Do not grieve for Dean but instead look at yourself and ask if you are as kind and generous as Dean was.
