Delores Schouten

Delores Schouten (nee Bashynski), age 85, of Oconomowoc, died peacefully with family at her side on Monday, October 28, 2019. Beloved wife of Merrill, of 62 years; dear mother of Susan (Steven) Buzhardt, of Augusta, GA and Sandra (Matthew) Klein, of Sussex. Loving grandmother of Nicole, Danielle, Ashley, Madison, Eric, Kyle, Jennifer, Benjamin and Abigail. Great-grandmother of 9. Sister of Bernie (Audrey) Bashynski, Joyce (Bob) Brown, Karen (John) Kiefer, Tom (Teresa) Bashynski. Also survived by other family and friends. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She spent most of her nursing career working at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Isabel Bashynski; sisters, Mary Ellen, Caroline and Geraldine. A special thanks to The View at Pine Ridge and Season’s Hospice for the special care they provided. A Celebration of Delores’ Life will be held at 3 pm, November 2nd, 2019 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc, WI. Visitation will be held from 2 pm until the time of service.
