Dennis Gordon Janecek

Dennis Gordon Janecek, age 69 of Oconomowoc, entered into God's arms on October 9, 2011. Dennis is survived by his children Jeff (Wendy) Janecek and Kelly Janecek, brothers; Darrell(Leona) Janecek, Kenneth(Deena) Janecek and Gordon Sloan and sister Donna (Eddie) Morris. Loving grandfather to Saleenna, Leahann, Aiden and Zoe. Also survived by his companion Lucy Spaulding along with many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Gordon Janecek and Alma Welter. Dennis was a United States Army veteran and retired from Schweiger's as an upholsterer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, NASCAR and spending time with his family and friends. Visitation for family and friends will take place in the chapel at Glenview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ixonia on Friday, October 14, 2011, from 10-11AM with graveside services, military honors and inurnment to follow at 11AM. Special thank you to the entire staff at Lake Country Health and Rehabilitation in Summit for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association can be made.
