Dennis M. Kiefer

Dennis M. Kiefer, age 54 of Oconomowoc, passed away unexpectedly, doing what he loved, on Friday, November 20, 2015. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 33 years and best friend, Diane, his mother Jean Kiefer, children Amy (Ryan) Julson and Melissa (Jeffrey) Korey, grandchildren Isaac and Wyatt Julson. He is further survived by his sisters Deborah (Robert) Leszczynski and Diana (Jeffrey) Berkshire and his brothers Dean (Christine) Kiefer and Daryl Kiefer, along with many other relatives, many friends and Snickers the cat. Dennis was preceded in death by his father Jerome Kiefer. Dennis worked at WE Energies for 30 years. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, being outdoors and playing cribbage. Most of all he loved to be with his family. He will be remembered by everyone for his kind heart and generosity. He will truly be missed by his family and everyone that knew him. A visitation for Dennis will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 4:00 PM until a prayer service at 7:00 PM all to take place at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, there will be a visitation and Mass at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Mapleton WI starting at 11:00 AM with Mass at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
