Dennis W. Strohkirch

Dennis W. Strohkirch, age 78, passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace Hospice on December 22, 2020. He was born in Wausau, WI on April 13, 1942 to Walter and Laverne Strohkirch. Dennis was a great provider for his family. He enjoyed spending time up north at the trailer. He had a love for gardening and a great sense of “dad humor.” He had a fond attachment to his bathrobe. It was apparent to his family that whenever the driveway lights went on, the party was over and it was time to go. Dennis is survived by his children: Kelly (Steve) Tischaefer, Patrick (Angela) Strohkirch, and Dedra Strohkirch; grandchildren: Jessica and Justin Tischaefer, Mathias, Adler, and Hadley Strohkirch; brother Tim (Gayle) Strohkirch; sister-in-law Kathy Strohkirch; and other family and friends. Dennis is preceded in death by his wife Sandy of 49 years; his parents; brother Terry; and sister Linae. A special thank you to Paula at AngelsGrace for her superior care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to AngelsGrace Hospice are appreciated. A private service will take place to celebrate Dennis’ life. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
