Diane Igl

Diane Igl, age 66, passed away on November 10th after a courageous battle with cancer. Diane was born on March 4, 1956 in Oconomowoc and grew up surrounded by her large family, that included 5 siblings and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Diane was raised by her mother, Betty, to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and those values showed in everything she did.  Diane worked 32 years for the Masonic Journal as an advertising manager and in the last couple of years she also started working at the YMCA before and after school childcare program. In her free time, Diane loved to bake and was well known for her cakes, pies and cookies. She also enjoyed spending time with her family daily. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her dog, Hazel.

Diane is survived by her mother, Betty; siblings, Bob, Joe (Sharon), Jude Hust, Steve (Jane) and Dan (Mary Jo); 2 children, Jamie Jones and Andrea (Greg) Wallander; and 5 grandchildren, Lizzie, Mason and Dylan Wallander and Kendra and Tred Jones.

There will be a visitation for those who would like to say their last goodbye to Diane on Saturday, November 19th from 9:00am-10:30am at St Bruno’s Catholic Church (2226 W. Ottawa Avenue, Dousman, WI 53118). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the service.
