Dianne (Nee Desmond) Tholl

August 2, 1958 — November 13, 2010

Dianne (Nee Desmond) Tholl

was taken much too soon at the age of 52. Dianne was born August 2, 1958 to Allen Desmond and Margie Kildare (nee Polenz). A native of Wisconsin, Dianne attended Pius XI High School and eventually settled in Oconomowoc. Dianne devoted her life to her family, and was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and daughter. For everyone who knew her, all would say what a truly kind and generous soul she was. Her smile would light up the room and her laughter came from deep inside and warmed everything and everybody around her. She never lost her amazing ability to see the wonderment and beauty that life had to offer, and nurtured this beauty through her love of gardening. One of her final wishes was to donate her eyes to the Wisconsin Lions Eye Bank. Our hearts are broken but we know for certain that she will continue to watch over us. She is survived by her loving husband Shawn, sons Jason, Mathew and Erik; father Allen (Rena) Desmond, mother Margie (Dennis) Kildare, Janet Tholl; sisters Kathy (Jack) Wepfer, Suzi (Darren) Metz, brother Tom Desmond, sister-in-law Cheryl (Chuck) Grimm, nephews Joe Wepfer, Jack Wepfer, Shawn Grimm and niece Heather (Scott) Hancock. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Rudolph & Alice Polenz, Dan & Dixie Desmond and Erwin Tholl. A memorial visitation for Dianne will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
