Dolores M. Lompa

Dolores M. Lompa, age 92, was peacefully born into eternal life on Saturday, March 11, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 24, 1930 to Emil and Margaret (Neumann) Dvorak in Milwaukee.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Eugene; her children, Deborah Lompa, Kathleen (David) Haas, Michael Lompa, Linda Lompa and John Lompa; her 8 granddaughters; her 9 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Dolores and Eugene have been married nearly 72 years. They enjoyed fishing and spending time in northern Wisconsin. She was an amazing artist blessed with incredible talent and creativity. Dolores appreciated the beauty of nature and enjoyed watching birds and deer from out her window. Dolores wrote in her art journal, “A Family is a Gift that lasts Forever”, and treasured her time with her husband and her entire family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 995 S. Silver Lake Street in Oconomowoc, with a visitation from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dolores’ name to the Arbor Day Foundation or Wildlife in Need Center of Oconomowoc.

Go now in Peace, Dolores, and rest in the loving presence of our Heavenly Father.
