Dona Louise Habermann

Dona L (nee Barcome) Habermann 88, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on July 25, 2021. Beloved mother of Rick (Nancy), Sue, the late Tom, Pat (Dave) and Linda (Joe). Proud grandmother to Sara (Russ), Katie, Ashley (fiancé Brent), Abby, Aleese, Stephanie, Spencer, Melissa (Troy), Renee, Lisa, Becca (Colten) and Amy (Dan). Great-grandmother to Lilly, Natalie, Ellanore, TJ and Aiden. Loving big sister of the late Mary Ann and Cathy (Bill). She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, other special family, relatives and friends. A 1951 graduate of West Allis Central High School, she happily kept in contact with many former classmates and was active on the Reunion Committee. As a young mother, Dona was active in her church teaching Catechism, Sunday school and VBS. She gladly spent many years sitting in the bleachers watching her children play sports. Dona retired after working for 20 years at Wisconsin Cardiovascular Consultants. She enjoyed reading and her annual trips to visit friends in Phoenix. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 31 at Covenant Lutheran Church, 8121 W. Hope Ave., Milwaukee from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11am. Burial will follow at 1 pm at Highland Memorial Park14875 W. Greenfield Ave., New Berlin (please meet at the entrance). Memorials to the church or Kathy’s House if desired.
