Doris Marie Winberg

Doris Marie Winberg (nee Anderson), age 87 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2013 with her family by her side. Doris is survived by her daughter Linda (Ron) Rupnow and son Keith (Diane) Winberg, grandchildren; Kyle (Erika) Rupnow, Eric (Kara) Rupnow, Kirsten (David) Andreson and Stephanie Winberg, great-grandchildren; Mason Rupnow, Parker & Sophia Rupnow and Abner Andreson. Also survived by her sister-in-law Norma Mandelkow along with many other relatives and friends. Doris is preceded in death by her husband Marland of 49 years, parents Oscar and Josephine Anderson, brother Robert Anderson, sister Bernice Hafslund and sister Evelyn Olson. Doris was born November 27, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN to Oscar and Josephine Anderson. After she married Marland, they lived on the family farm in. Bay City, WI and later moved to the Oconomowoc area. Doris retired from Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital where she worked as an LPN. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Doris enjoyed sewing, quilting, cards, dancing and most of all, spending time with her family and friends in Florida and Wisconsin. A celebration of Doris' life will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials in Doris' name can be made to AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. Special thank you to the entire staff at AngelsGrace Hospice for their loving care and support.
