Douglas Keith Edwards

Douglas "Doug' Keith Edwards of Dousman, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on May 2,2022 at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Douglas was born November 1,1965 to Robert and Betty (Thelen) Edwards. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty (Thelen) Edwards; as well as his brother, Michael Edwards and niece, Krystal Edwards. Douglas is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Edwards, Gary Edwards, Robert "Tink" Edwards; and his sister, Cindy (Edwards) Willey. Douglas is also survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. Douglas loved his family and enjoyed being with them. Douglas loved the ocean and was a free spirit. When he enjoyed what he was doing he was extremely passionate when doing it and put his heart and soul into it. Douglas loved cooking and trying new recipes. He loved working outside and feeding and watching the birds. Douglas was a Nascar fan. He would watch all the pre-races as well as races. He would keep track of who won the races and would watch anything that had to do with racing. Douglas served in the U.S. Army. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. Douglas will be laid to rest at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery located in Union Grove, Wisconsin at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora Summit in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin for taking care of Douglas when he was in their care. The family would also like to thank Angels Grace Hospice for taking great care of Douglas when he was in their care, as well as helping to keep Douglas calm and pass away comfortably. The family is holding a celebration of life for Douglas on Saturday, May 21,2022 from 1pm-5pm. The celebration of life will be held at the Dousman House located on Main St. in Dousman, Wisconsin.
