Douglas L. Dahlberg

Douglas L. Dahlberg Sr., born Oct. 3, 1945 and passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the age of 67. He was the proud father of Doug Jr., Kevin and Brian and found great joy in his grandchildren Ellery, Eva, Samuel and Olivia. He is further survived by his many brothers and sisters; Marilyn Pochinski, Sandra Dahlberg, Bernie Dahlberg, Sheila Dahlberg, Eddie Dahlberg, LaRue Sarringer , Forrest Dahlberg, Greg Dahlberg, Wayne Dahlberg, Darlene Stuhr, Georgianne Sharlow and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Ruth along with siblings Diane and Butch. Doug was a proud military man who served his country for 3 years in the Army from 1962-1965 as a sharpshooter and parachutist. He was employed with and retired from A.O. Smith. Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting and perfected the art of the 'yard sale.' He spent his early years pulling out his hair due to his sons, his retired years as a #1 childcare provider and entertainer of his grandkids. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service for Doug will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 12:30 PM. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
