Dr. Ethan Meyer

On August 23rd, 2017, God reached out to Ethan and called him home to be with him in his Kingdom in heaven. Ethan fought the good fight, battling brain cancer for seventeen months. Ethan was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School, The University of Wisconsin- Madison, and Scholl College of Podiatry in Chicago. Ethan’s love for life was found in serving his patients at his clinic at Lake Country Foot and Ankle in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. In his life, Ethan touched many lives as both a doctor and as a friend. He loved his children, daughter Gabriella and son Elijah. Ethan was active in coaching sports, football and softball, and loved working with kids and playing fantasy football. He is survived by his father Russell, mother Linda, brother Jacob (Kate) and their children Max, Colton, and Augie, three step daughters Katelyn, Lexi, and Brooke, and granddaughter Ashlyn. He was a Godfather to Makenna, Max, and Savannah. Ethan attended grade school at St. Paul’s Lutheran School and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. Services for Ethan will be at 11:00am on Friday, September 1, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. Visitation will be Thursday, August 31 from 4:00pm-8:00pm and Friday, September 1 from 9:00am-11:00am, also at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at Concord Cemetery following the service. Memorials are suggested in Ethan's honor to St. Paul's Lutheran School in Oconomowoc. Ethan will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends and lives he has touched.
