Earl David Eppler

Earl David Eppler passed away due to natural causes at the Memory care unit at Shorehaven on June 20th 2024. Earl was born February 17th 1930 in Ixonia WI. He graduated high school in Oconomowoc class of 1948. Earl was a proud Army veteran of the Korean war. He married Suzanne Braun August 1958. They had 4 children Amy, Karen, Jennifer(Paul) and Michael(Sally) and 2 grandchildren Savannah and Madisson.

Earl's dedication to his beloved business Suburban Vending was evident. His hard work was known by his faithful customers for over 60 years. So much so that he was still going to work every day at the age of 90.

Earl's lifetime love was the game of baseball. He enjoyed playing, managing, umpiring, and an ultimate fan of the Oconomowoc 5 O's baseball team. He was inducted into the Land O'Lakes baseball Hall of Fame in 2000.

Earl's biggest attribute was his big heart. He was very giving to his family and everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Gertrude Eppler and his wife Suzanne Eppler.

Memorial Services will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane Oconomowoc Wi 53066 on June 28th 2024 with visitation from 2pm-5pm with service to follow at 5pm.

He will be laid to rest next to his late wife at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to promote youth baseball in the Oconomowoc area.
