Edna Schnell

Edna I. Schnell, age 97 of Dousman, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 05, 2012. Edna is survived by her two sons, Frederick (Mary Ellen) Schnell and Charles Schnell, grandchildren Kathy, Fred, Jay, Christine, Amy, Cindy and Jim, 11 great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. Edna was preceded in death by her loving husband Edgar, granddaughter Pam and parents Herman and Martha Hedrich. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 36821 Sunset Drive, Dousman, WI at 3:00 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the church from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. A private burial for family will be held at Highland Memorial Park, where Edna will be laid to rest next to her husband. Edna was a member of the Eastern Star and was a Worthy Matron. She belonged to the Homemaker Club also. Edna was the director of food services for the Kettle Moraine School District for many years; retiring in 1979. She also was the Town Treasurer for the town of Delafield for numerous years. Her pastime hobbies were crafts and gardening. With her 'green thumb', she was able to grow anything. She was a beautiful lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
