Edward John Mohr

Edward John Mohr, 78, of Summit, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lucille 'Sally' Mohr, sons Douglas (Suzanne) Mohr and David (Jennifer) Mohr. Grandfather to Michael, Megan, Willem and Andrea. Ed is also survived by many other close friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Dorothy Mohr, brother Gilbert Mohr and sister Margie Mohr. Ed was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the 440th Air Force Reserves in Milwaukee. Ed retired after 43 years at Kearney & Trecker as a journeyman machinist. Ed was a member of Zion Episcopal Church in Oconomowoc. He was a member of the ski patrol at Olympia Resort in Oconomowoc. Ed was an avid sailor, water and snow skiier and loved being on Silver Lake. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A memorial service for Ed will take place at Zion Episcopal Church in Oconomowoc on Friday, January 13th at 5:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Special thank you to Dr. Gilberto Rodrigues and Dr. Chris Ostromeski for their care and support.
