Elaine Deford

Elaine Pearl DeFord (nee Peardot), age 75 of Delafield, passed away at home with loved ones around her. Elaine was born in Oakdale, WI on April 27, 1936, the daughter of William and Evelyn Peardot. Elaine married the love of her life Howard on March 20, 1954. Together they shared 62 years of love. She will be dearly missed by her husband Howard of Delafield, daughter Kim of Dousman, grandson Devin and Dustin O'Brien of Dousman, sister Gloria Sears, brother Don (Nancy) Peardot, brothers-in-law Corkey DeFord, Mark DeFord, Jim (Sandy) DeFord, Denny DeFord and Rodney (Kathy) DeFord, sister-in-law Dimples Nero, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents William and Evelyn Peardot, sister Noreen Formella, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mickey (Tom) Rohn, Mary (Olie) Murphy, Karen (Jim) Owens and Joyce DeFord. Funeral services for Elaine will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home at 6:30 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. until time of service. Elaine will be laid to rest at Delafield City Cemetery on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 8:15 a.m. in Delafield, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Elaine's name may be made to Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation for Regional Cancer Center. Elaine was gracious, kind, strong and wise. She was a Brewer and Packer Fan and enjoyed watching the games. Elaine will be deeply missed by her family.
